Most adult might say that anime is just for kids and its useless. U know what ? They are wrong. I learn many things from anime’s i watched in the past few months. The main reason i made this journal is to share what i’ve done or feel. Things that i never shared with my friends which i don’t have much currently. You see, im the kind of person that doesn’t really share much especially when it comes to feeling or things that other people think is weird.
Since kindergarden till college, i never was the popular student. I usually sits at one side or at my table alone. When time to get back, i didn’t hang out with friends but instead i go straight home, on my pc and search for another stupid things i can do. I’ve done stuff like riding from KL to Kuantan just to waste time and eat burger at the beach. I just stay there for 2 hours eating slowly and watch the sea (i do alot of this one). Or play bowling until 15 games alone and go home right away afterward then sleep, build a rather big Tesla Coil , pulsejet engine, methanol injection for my turbocharged compact, etc …
Because of the lack of social communication with other people since im a kid, i suffers from panic attack especially in crowded places. I can barely spoke to anyone else. I even feeling uncomfortable with my own family and relatives.
Watching anime shows me what i missed for the passed 24years of my life. For the past few months, i actually gone out and enjoying myself ! Recently, I took a big step by cosplaying alone and volunteering at Comic Fiesta 09 which required to communicate and interact with the crowd. I never feel this good. Anime is a way to waste lots of my money but it was worth it. I got to do what i missed ….

Su, Ran and Miki
Im a different person … im more happy than i used to..Or should i say i finally found ‘my true self’ …like in shugo chara ..I know this post is stupid but i just feel like to let it out of my chest.
p/s: aint Su cute !! .. like she always said .. ‘Kawai Desu’ (^_^)

confirmed ? YAY !! … i do think cosplaying gives me more opportunity to socialize more. If not i wouldnt know u guys (^_^).. the helmet helps too .. didnt feel too embarrassed when cosplaying a character which ppl cant see ur real face .. LOL
@Shazzsteel: I agree, theres always a line that should never be crossed. I also heard about that before, that’s the one about that guy who married a hentai game character right? weird……………..
@Gixxer: You mean Halo Anime? Yeah, thats been confirmed and there’s already a preview of it. It’s called Halo Legends and here’s the link to the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0A6lojxvmy4 .
Oh yeah back to the topic, like what Shazzsteel said, be who you are and even anime’s good and all don’t choose the road like that weird guy who married a hentai character. If cosplaying lets you socialize even more then i say you should continue it.
I’m hoping I’ll come as a Spartan, I can only hope I find time to make it. If I do I wanna go as this bad ass – http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Unidentified_Grenadier_(Noble_Team).
Anyway I’m pretty eager for the game and movie
Will keep in touch through twitter ^.^
WHOAH .. thats freaking cool ! there’s a year till CF 10′ .. im sure u will be done by then … (^_^)
p/s: there’s rumors they even gonna be an anime .. YAY !!
I say just be happy who you are, don’t be someone that someone else wants you to be. It’s good that anime has influenced your life in a positive way, but remember there’s a line that should never be crossed such as that SAL9000 guy that married Nene from Love Plus lol. Anyway if you realized at the CF 2009 that just by cosplaying there you brought a smile to people’s faces, people wanted to take photos with you. If there are changes there are positives one.
With the lack of socializing, don;t worry about it too much, keep in mind the future is constantly changing and the way people socialize is completely different to 10 years ago. I’m not saying don;t go outside or see your friends face to face but it’s still good to get out and about once in a while for that breathe of fresh air.
Still regarding money, ofcourse you need to save, but if there’s something you want and if it makes you happy…well? Then get it. But of course still save and budget for future needs.
I met you at the CF 2009 you probably don’t remember me but I asked about your armour, what it was made of and how long it took etc
ahaha .. come one .. im not that influenced. LOL ..hmm .. brought smile to peoples faces ? i never thought of that. i guess i did. Money, i dont have any comment. LOL …Hey .. i think i remember you ! because there’s only two person who asked about the armor …care to join me next CF ? I always have room for another spartan/ODST/Marine ..
.. owh .. nice to meet you !
