Zam's Journal

Another Useless Blog

Zam On November - 5 - 2009

Recently my bike has been giving me nothing only problems. With this kind of bike, problems means money. The brain a.k.a. CDI that control the spark, was fried by a faulty rectifier. Rectifier isnt much a problem since I can use a rectifier from Suzuki VS125 but the CDI is kinda complicated. I search for weeks for the original CDI and finally got it. But it comes with another new problem. It was a type B cdi.

Type B CDI has two low cut-off by retarding the ignition at exactly 6500rpm at each gear and wont exceed more than 112kmh. This is really frustrating. I cant even go out of a corner or pass a slower car properly because of the low cut-off.

So did you manage to fix the problem?

Is the VS125 CDI compatible for the SM.

no it wont work .. the VS125 is for rectifier .. you can use VS125 or VR125 rectifier with MZ125SM..
