Yesterday pieces is cured and i test-fitting each pieces. Most of them didn’t fit well maybe mainly because i didn’t test it during the pepakura stage and after the resin stage. My bad. But its not a big deal since it just required some minor cutting. Except for
Its been 10 days since i updated about the HALO suit progress. It because i waiting for my dremal rotary tool to arrive. I finally got last saturday and put it up to work the same day ! But it was a quick job.
Earlier today, i finally managed to go to Jalan Pasar to grab myself two set of Reed Sensor to replace the MZ125SM speed sensor. Instead of mounting it at the back where it should be, I mount it at the front just above the Trailtech Vapor Reed Sensor.
I just got back from Malacca yesterday and check on my halo suit progress. All pieces are cured and now, there’s only 4 pieces left to be fiberglass excluding the boot. Im not sure about the boot size and how to mount it on the shoe. The Assault rifle having some difficulties to harden even with three separate coats of resins.
The signal blinker suddenly not working during my trip to Malacca. After inspection, it seems that one of the resistor detach itself. I dont know how but i know thats the cause.
Its raining till 4pm and then that i can get out to buy the resin. Start on it right away. One of the thigh pieces didnt turn out well. My helper put three layers of fiberglass mat causing the piece to deform.
I didnt have the chance to go buy the fiberglass resin yesterday. The hardware store only opens half a day on sunday. So i decided it might be a good time to start the Assault Rifle pepakura.
As in previous post, I’ve been out since 10.30am till 5pm. I didnt have the chance to continue fibreglassing today.
It been years since i done a fibreglass project and i kinda missed it. Well today is my chance.
